Even in the midst of key elements missing from raid due to the nicer weather and real life pursuits, the 25m progression team is still pushing harder into heroics. After nearly a month of tough practice on this fight Heroic Yor'sahj fell for the 25-Man progression raid team. It took a lot of work, but the dedication from the core is what finally broke this fight. Excellent job to all involved, Ultraxion won't know what hit him.

After a whole night of trying our hand at heroics last week, we decided to clear our way through Deathwing. Tonight it seemed that a few more pieces from last week's raid did just the trick. Just barely beating the enrage timer, OB pulled through to defeat our first 25-M heroic mode in DS. Congratulations to all!

Obsidian Blades has seen its fair share of changes over the past six years. There has been loss of close friends, and the loss of key elements to our raid core. Not to mention the loss of status Blizzard gave 25 man raiding this expansion. Though even with loss there has also been great gains created through the resolve of our most dedicated members. Due to their faith in the guild's ability to both grow and adapt to changes Obsidian Blades has reached and greatly surpassed a point in 25 man raiding it hasn't seen since Ulduar. We've added great people to our roster over the span of Cataclysm, and built up a raid core consisting of some of the most skilled, and most enjoyable personalities that Thorium Brotherhood has to offer.
The final boss in normal mode raiding has been cleared for Obsidian Blades. We're excited to see the 25 man progression team come as far as it has through this expansion. Seeing the guild add great new blood to the mix of other fantastic people who've been here for years should be an inspiration to other guilds struggling to keep 25 man raiding alive. I know it inspires me every day to just log on and see all these great people playing hard together.
Congratulations to all the hard working, dedicated soldiers of Obsidian Blades. You've all earned it!
